Letting Go to Release the Story Within: A 3-Day Writers’ Retreat

Join us at Marywood as we explore how letting go can unlock your creativity and cultivate confidence in your writing. This weekend will explore creative blocks to our writing, focusing on the themes of letting go in the autumn months. Get a chance to spend quality, dedicated time on your writing endeavors while sharing thoughts and ideas with other writers passionate about their craft–all while in the setting of the beautiful Northwoods and Trout Lake in Arbor Vitae, Wisconsin. This retreat will offer you serenity and a chance to reveal the story within.

Friday, November 8th – Arrive onsite at 3pm. Activities begin at 4pm. Then, settle in to your cabin and take some time to write.

Saturday, November 9th – Begin the day with a meditation at 9am. Engage with local writers during presentations and exercises throughout the day, plus free time to write or simply enjoy the Northwoods.

Sunday, November 10th – Share your writers’ wisdom during group reflection and discussion. Closing ritual with departure at 12pm.
