Summer: A Season of Gathering Eco-Spirituality Retreat
TIME: 4:00 pm - 12:00 pm
LOCATION: Marywood Franciscan Spirituality Center
INVESTMENT: Staying onsite in a private room in a shared cabin $400; Commuting $275
When the season of mud and mess we in the northland call springtime gives way to the lush green and symphony of blossoms of summer, we unbundle our bodies from their coats and our hearts from the uncertainties of March weather and life’s cares. Long after our school days are behind us, our spirits rise up in celebration of the freedom that comes with summer. Our minds are at liberty to ponder the miracles of all that is growing and fruiting, of the transformative questions that engage the human mind and soul. What within the Earth Community inspires me to a great “Aha!” moment of interconnection? How am I in conversation with the Earth Community? What is ripening in my relationship with this Community? What “currency” do I bring to the needs within Earth’s “economy”? How shall I spend my sacred life in the service of love?
If these questions inspire your curiosity, we invite you to join us at Marywood August 1-3 for our summer The Nature of Spirituality eco-spirituality retreat. Deepen your interconnection with the Earth Community in the company of other seekers, Marywood staff, and the rich and varied life at Trout Lake.
