INVESTMENT: $700 for the week includes overnight accommodations (private bedroom in a shared cabin) and programming. $350 commuter (5 days) or $70 per day.

The surface you apply your watercolor on depends on the results you want. We will explore each day a different surface that watercolor can be applied to and notice the pros and cons of each. The different surface papers and underground materials will be provided.

Surfaces include:

  • Color Press
  • Hot Press
  • Rough 140# watercolor papers
  • Rice Paper
  • Soft Tissue Paper
  • Yupo
  • Ampersand Aquaboard
  • Watercolor Canvas

Please bring the following watercolor supplies:

  • watercolor paints
  • watercolor brushes of various sizes
  • paper towels
  • spray bottle
  • masking tape

Attendees are welcome to dine with your Marywood hosts.
