Birding as a Presence Practice Field Trip

Creation is bursting with life! Come and immerse yourself in the wonder at the Powell Marsh Wildlife Area as we explore the area by slowing down, staying still, and paying attention to what we see, hear, smell, taste and feel. On our field trip, we’ll pay special attention to our feathered friends as we slow down, become still, and notice all the beings around us expressing our gratitude for the gift of their presence. Whether you prefer to head out on your own, or stay with the group, you’re invited to regroup as we conclude our time and share what you noticed, discovered, and named.
