Oil Pastel and Watercolor Landscapes
TIME: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
LOCATION: Marywood Franciscan Spirituality Center
INVESTMENT: $150 or $50/day, cabin rooms available for $55/night
Join us at Marywood with Sr. Karen Kappell September 29-October 1 from 9am-3pm each day for an art retreat that incorporates oil pastels and watercolor to create beautiful landscape paintings. Through a mix of oil pastel and watercolor, participants will create landscapes of sky, land, and water. The watercolor will enhance the transparency and the oil pastel the opaque quality we see in nature. Bring your photos and 1/2 or 1/4 watercolor sheets (one for each day) cold press 140# paper and watercolor supplies for each day. If you have oil pastels, please bring them. Supplies of oil pastels are also available for class use.
Cabin rooms available for rent for additional $55 per night. Bring a lunch each day.
