It is so much easier and more satisfying to start a pastel painting with an underpainting applied to the working surface! Join us April 15-17, 2025, from 9-3 as we will explore a different underpainting method daily.
Tuesday: Pastels over a dark underpainting
Wednesday: Pastels over a multi-toned colored underpainting
Thursday: Pastels over a pre-planned underpainting
There will be enough time each day to create an entire painting! Bring pastel materials if you have them and working surface supplies will be available through the fee.
Fee: $50 each day. Limit of 8. Bring a lunch. Pre-register by April 8. Cabin rooms available during program for $55 per night.
