Pastels come in both oil based and dried soft powdered pastel. We will be using soft pastel, and Sister Karen will have many pieces of Nupastels for your use. If you purchase your own, Sister Karen suggests Prismacolor Nupastel (a set of 12 for $16.19 at cheapjoes.com). Since this is an introductory class all materials will be provided, so there is an additional $15 cost for materials to be paid to Sister Karen Kappell.
Each day we will have a finished landscape painting as you learn techniques and discover how much enjoyment this media provides.
Suggested donation of $40 per day or $100 for all three days.
