Watercolor on Masa Paper
TIME: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
LOCATION: Marywood Franciscan Spirituality Center
INVESTMENT: $125 for all three days or $50 each day
Japanese Masa Paper fractures color into a beautiful network of lines similar to a batik. The process is all wet into wet initially in application and results in beautiful textured areas of softness that are perfect for nature motifs of leaf, flower, or garden subjects. More details in painting can bring the subject into sharper focus. Bring your own watercolor supplies and since it is a wet in wet process 140# cold press paper that is stretched. The Masa paper is included in the fee and there will be supplies on hand.
Workshop fee: $125.00 for all 3 days or $50.00 for each day.
Pre-register by July 3. Bring lunch each day. Please contact Marywood by calling 715-385-3750 or by emailing marywood.center@gmail.com to register.
